This past Sunday during the 4th of July weekend I took a little day trip with my boyfriend (Matt) and his parents up to Portsmouth New Hampshire. The adorable and historic city is only 40 minutes away and I had never been. It was a real treat! Unfortunately it was a little cloudy and rainy. However, that did not stop us. We walked along the water, viewed the lush gardens, consumed chowder and beers on the water, and shopped until we dropped. I would definitely take another trip up there soon to explore further. The chowder was delicious and perfect for a dreary day.
